Comfort Suites Gastonia - Charlotte

Spotless hotel, brand-new rooms, comfortable location in a quiet area which was great. Stuff was especially helpful, and facilities where great here. Good meals. Overall enjoyable stay for the price.

The location was marvellous right off highway exit.

There was a little hard bed in my room.

There were maintenance issues. The AC cover was broken, outlets didnt work and the outlet behind the bed was separated from the wall which is a fire hazard.

There was never enough food for the ones who got up after 7 because the early travelers ate everything and there was no replenishing of food. The staff at the front lobby was very friendly.

The price of the One bed and a couch was too much, the couch looked like a little cot for a child and even my son was uncomfortable on it, they gave us clean towels but they were all semi wet, they did not have enough towels to go around, knocking on guest doors for towels or either asking if they were finish with towels so they could wash them.

great access to parks and local dining options

I stayed here for two nights and loved the convenient access to Rankin Lake Park, where I enjoyed a peaceful walk surrounded by nature. There are plenty of nearby restaurants like Cracker Barrel just a short stroll away , made dining easy and enjoyable.

Phone didn't work to call front desk and we saw several ants and they ran out of washcloths!!

Night light in bathroom. USB plug-ins for charging. Pillows. TV channel guide actually matched the TV. Good flat-screen TV. Suitcase carts were in abundance/available. Ice machine on every floor. "Close the door" button in the elevator actually worked.

Only one trash can. Shower tiles looked old and "icky". Bathroom facet leaked water all-around as you used it.

The king suite offered a comfortable bed and clean accommodations, complemented by friendly and helpful staff. Despite a recent storm knocking out internet access, the front desk efficiently set up a backup plan for check-ins, demonstrating great problem-solving. The breakfast selection was excellent with plenty of protein options. A very satisfying experience.

I made the reservation for a visiting Pastor and her Secretary, I was worried at first that I might embarrassed myself cuz of how cheap I got the reservation, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked them in and was able to inspect the accommodations. Everything was spotless and neat, and even the staff we met in the elevator was so pleasant and concerned about our confort that it made me give myself a pat on the back "sort of speaking " I did a great job picking the hotel for our church guess.
